Ten months ago I wrote a review of Whyte and Mackay whisky. I decided to try another ‘tasting’, only this time in front of a camera.

Rum has always been my least favourite spirit. It’s ok in a beach bar,but in the North, it’s a pathetic attempt to fake ‘party’ atmosphere. it’s like drinking white Russians and pretending you’re the Big Lebowski. You’re a poser. Oh,having computer problems which is why you haven’t MSS 2.
I drank Lamb’s Navy Rum with my Dad but only because he liked it. I think in his own way he was trying to create his own little slice of the Caribbean in an English scheme. Didn’t fucking work, as you know.
Next time will have to be something more in keeping with the climate. Perhaps some posh Russian vodka; or skag.
